With one of Bergen Mambo Weekends organizers, Bjarte Mundal, he created Bergen Salsa Academy, a school that teached mambo for all levels. Here the focus is on social dancing and understanding the music.

One of Elias’ philosphies are «dance is music made corporal» meaning every move should come from the music. What is played should to some extent decide what the dance will be.
