Bergen Salsaklubb started in the spring of 1998 as a voluntary organization. It still run on a voluntary basis, and that’s the reason for the club's symbolic entrance fee.

We have had dance nights for 26 years, almost every Thursday. The club has, in all these years, been a gathering place for people who love to dance in Bergen.

An average of 60-70 people come every Thursday evening. We started with salsa, and when bachata became more popular, we included it in the DJ lists. Now we also play some kizomba.
