Bergen Mambo Weekend would not exist without its volunteers. You are the ones keeping the weekend running — and we are genuinely grateful for everyone who gives their time to make it happen.
Your own social
Every volunteer is paired with a partner. Whether this is your first time or you have been with us since the start, you are always working together — never left to figure things out alone.
Get a free full pass
Work 8 or more hours across the festival weekend and you receive a full pass — covering all workshops, socials, shows, and parties.
The hours do not need to be consecutive, and we do our best to work around your preferences on time-of-day and tasks.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a volunteer you are working across one or more of these areas:
Festival reception
Workshop and artist assistance (keeping artists stocked with water, fresh mic batteries, and anything else they need)
Hospitality — making sure every attendee feels welcome and at ease
Running our second-hand market
Other ad-hoc tasks as they come up.
